National Quality Framework (NQF)

The National Quality Framework provides a national approach to regulation, assessment and quality improvement for early childhood education and care. 

 

The NQF includes:

- Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010) National Law

- Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) National Regulation 

- National Quality Standards

- Assessment and rating process

- National Learning Frameworks

National Learning Frameworks

The National Law requires Approve Providers to ensure Educators deliver an approved learning program to all registered children.
 
There are two nationally approved learning frameworks that outline principles, practices and learning outcomes. This serves
as a guidance to Educational leaders and Educators for planning, delivering and evaluating quality programs.

The two nationally approved learning frameworks are:

Belonging, Being & Becoming:
For children Birth to 5 years of Age
